...and one Z. WHO DIDN'T WAVE BACK, BY THE WAY.

A couple of weeks ago I drove to Columbus OH from Des Moines and saw "0" 370Z's; one 350Z going the other way on I-74 and a lot of Corvette's heading to Bloominton Gold. The rarity of this vehicle makes it special in my mind.

I would have waved back......

Top things I like about my 2012 Z?

I've only owned it for 4 1/2 months but....

Sportiness: good power, nice handling and great shifting- the closets I’ve owned to my past Porsches.

Looks: nice curves, especially from the rear.

Uniqueness: a 35 mile drive each way to the shore last weekend I saw 2 Ferraris, 10 Porsches, 10 Vettes, 20 Mercedes, 20 Mustangs, 30 Bmw’s and only 1 other Z that was a 350 not a 370.

All the compliments: either from my friends, co-workers or total strangers.

Interior: perfect driver position, xm radio, comfy seats, fully loaded, ac that actually works!

Sad to hear about your father op. Story kind of reminds me of mine though although a different generation.

My Father bought his '78 280Z in 1980 when I was going to college. I was born in '85 and he kept it and used it as his daily driver until he got an altima in 2000 (which he always regretted). In 2004 he ended up buying a 350z.

He still had his 280z and gave it to me so it was the first car I ever had that I drove seriousy. I technically had a 1980 toyota corolla but that was a POS compared to the 280Z. so I feel like the 280Z was my first real car.

I drove that thing as my daily driver (high school commute and then college commute) from about 2001 until 2006 when I finally bought a new car to replace it. I didn't have the money for a 350z so I got a subaru impreza (regular one with only 180hp). Finally in 2010 I got my 370Z and was very happy with it. Just recently though I upgraded to a GT-R but I decided to keep my Z because too much love there :)

Love how it looks from the back.

370z is a stunning looking vehicle out the box with very nice lines and for the money it's got the best looks per $ ratio nothing touches it.

In uk 370z's are very rare so look even more special than the 350z did.

But you guys in the UK get all GTRs... my fav car ever is Skyline R32 1994 v-spec 2 gun metal grey. Hoping to own one some day. The 1994 will be legal in USA 2019, but the 1989 is already legal :)

The 370Z is a very special car indeed, I think it will actually end up being a classic.

The fact that it can pass for a $60,000+ car if you don't know what it is. It's a very good looking car for the price. Most sports car under $40K aren't this good looking.

You didn't jump on the boat when Motorex sold them a little over 10 years ago? I rode in a R32 GT-R....stupid fast. The guy built it up to about 500 h.p. Scarrrrry fast. Even when it was stock it moved.

I love the lines of the car, handling, power , and how the shifter is right where it needs to be. Fell in love with the pearl white.
If I have had a bad day I know I can walk up to my Z and I'll be okay as soon as I push the start button. All said and done the 370z is a super fun, sexy car to drive . Proud 370Z owner
