How much attention does your 370z get?

I see people breaking their necks to check out my Nismo on a daily basis!

I had an MGB. I could find KITS but they all required welding. My El-Camino was the same way. In betwixt those, I was married to that biatch! Never had money for fun stuff. She kept spending it on stupid knick-knack sh!t for the house we couldn't afford. Or drinks at the bar. Luckily she found some other poor sap at the bar to put up with her.

Life is much better now.

I read someplace that welding is the number one reason for divorce. But that might have been solely among welders...I didn't read it that closely.

I always let the pro's handle the welding. Maybe THAT was the problem? However, my current research might indicate otherwise. I don't weld now and the second marriage has lasted 20+. Hope this doesn't jinx it.

A lot of good and bad. More attention towards a car than I am use to. I bought the car for myself, but I can see why people say it's an eye turner and panty dropper. Just be caureful with people trying to race you or do harm to your car off and while on the road

this happens quite a bit. Even on the way home today, I had a mustang GT bob and weave thru traffic to catch up.. then to bob and weave some more to get ahead of me. I could tell he was trying to race...because the min he passed me and I did not try to keep up, he slowed down.

Best thing so far, is I have had cops pull up alongside @ a light and compliment the car.

Default Attention!?

My Z gets lots of attention. I marvel at it in the morning, dust it off a little later. Then drive like a mad man in the afternoon.
Cheers,

In my experience, the Z gets the most attention from people who don't know anything about cars. - As with most things when you get older, if someone doesn't know what they are talking about, it is probably not worth your time to care about their opinion. ha ha.

I try to promote the appreciation and camaraderie as much as I can in the z community, I get haters and fans of all sorts, I've had kids say it was their dream car, had a cop pull me over just to admire and even a 5.0 mustang tell me it was a gorgeous car... At the end of the day I got the car of my dreams and could care less what anyone thinks but I do catch a lot of looks and I admit it feels pretty awesome

I have no idea. I'm afraid my eyesight isn't good enough to check people's facial expressions in my rear-view mirror.

( Click to show/hide )
And I don't give a crap anyway. I got the Z for my enjoyment--not to impress anyone.
