Exactly, those are as common as ford escapes, unless we are talking amg and m series.

I like that I can go through a whole week of driving 1200-1500 KM's and in most cases not even see 1 370.

It's rare to see one here, I have only seen one other so far this summer, so ya I get a lot of looks. It could be the HFCs and FI exhaust though too. It gets pretty loud when you give it even a medium go. While that was cool to hear for the first bit it garners unwanted attention from our law enforcement types too. It sounds like something a kid would drive and that gets even more attention. I am thinking of doing something with the exhaust to quite it down a bit.

If I can swing it I will do either FI or BP FI kit this winter which will get me back to stock cats which will help some.

I see one, maybe two 370s a day. I know there is a 40th very close to where I live, the rest are on my commute to Orlando and back. There is a Yellow one that I see daily. We cross paths in the morning. The rest are random.

I was driving past 4 guys working on their Hondas and they stood up and have me a round of applause. Every time I park somewhere I get a ton of questions, mostly about my wheels.

It gets more looks than my dropped G37 did, probably because I honestly think it's the only one in town. Though getting the windows tinted and putting on some Forgestars certainly didn't help with the rubbernecking.

My boss will often get pissed off at me because of where I park my car at the dealership.
He complains that customers are asking about the Zed instead of the BMW product.

Cracks me up :)

The same people at work ask me if the wheels are factory...the response is always yes, as if they're going to catch me in a lie. I generally get comments or nods at a gas station. I don't generally look to see if others are somehow trying to look at the car while I'm driving.

Not often, but it does happen daily. Like mentioned earlier, they do it discretely.

I average about 1 thumbs up a week, cant complain!

I'm chilling with the in-laws, enjoying the holiday and just watched some kids do the "stop and stare" as they passed my car on their skateboards. I guess that counts.

Now you need to post your wheels!

July 4th party, I've had the car for a week. Monterey blue.

Number one comment from the women: I love that color. It's beautiful.

brutusvk 07-05-2014 09:55 AM

I get asked about the wheels and brakes a lot. I get the occasional, "I have never seen a 350Z that looks like that". (Me either!)

I gets more looks than I expected. Quite a few took pics of the car last weekend at the car show. They especially checked out the engine bay.

The funny thing is, my ugly nova gets more attention. And it only has primer for paint.

60+ yr old man(in a green car with neon green sneakers and neon green shirt ) asking about my ark grip exhaust

Him: nice exhaust, did it come with the car or did you buy in a store?
Me: Nope, i ordered from the internet
Him: oh, so where did you take it to get installed?
Me: i installed it myself
Him: oh, so you know how to weld?
[2 seconds of silence]
Me: oh no, everything screws together with nuts and bolts
Him::icon14:[2+ seconds of silence]
Me: its an exhaust "kit"! Comes with the tubes, nuts, bolts, mufflers...
Him: ooohhh... niiice! Looks great in your car.

I laughed because i imagined myself in his place in 30 years from now :rofl2:

jpkirk 07-05-2014 03:13 PM

Yea, 30 years ago you couldn't get kits like these. No such thing as a bolt on performance exhaust as I recall. It was 30 year ago and around that time ... things were always ... um ... kinda hazy.
