Looks like dry rot just off the bead. May be a construction issue causing excessive dry rot. Check your other tires. It may be happening to them also. I had

Looks like dry rot just off the bead. May be a construction issue causing excessive dry rot. Check your other tires. It may be happening to them also. I had a set of Goodyears do that to me about an inch off the bead with a load range E tire. I saw it while changing oil on my truck. I had just gotten back from a long pull grossing about 21,000 lbs. Pucker facter was pretty big. It was on my front right. Had a couple more with the same issue starting.
