Customary 370Z thread introduction statement: I searched the site on this topic, but to no avail so I'm forced to start a new thread!

That's right folks, post up your fave car fresher. Looking for some new scents that keep my Z smelling fresh and lasting more than just a week. Those little pine trees just isn't cutting it after days of having pho and taco hell for lunch ;)

they say it actually removes the bad smells haha and lasts 4-5 weeks. It's been about 2 so far and it has weakened but still is decent

this is mine. not too strong and lasts about a year (instead of opening hte whole foil, i just poke holes in i). i always get compliments on it :)

New car smell. Outgassing from the plastics smells so nice.

5 years old and 45,000 miles...still smells like a new car. Best scent hands down. Don't want to ruin that smell.

Smells like a cheap brothel no doubt. The sort you spray around to cover dubious scents.

I have used the peach before, and big mistake. The smell is way overpowering and smelled a little too foo foo for me. Lasted less than 5min in my car and went into the bathroom instead. Maybe like Chops said, poke holes in it to lessen the smell and make it last longer.

This one was worked well and smelled really good, I think. Havn't used it after Japan though.

im using a squash scent one (some JDM one blue with a chrome-ish lid) in my powder room actually. it smells nice. :D

the thing is it only lasts like 3months.

in my cars i dont use anything.

i use my farts, cause they smell like roses

but i'll look into some of these :D

http://media2.febreze.com/m/Packshot...CarScent_L.png and I keep a small aoumt of baking soda in a open "ash tray" in the trunk to get rid of the bad odors, like when it rains.

Leave a couple of new tires in the trunk for a week or so before you put them on the car and cord them. Best smell ever and gets the blood pumping.

I've tried other variants on the "squash" scent (weirdly, more of a citrus than gourd odor), and the CS-X3 was the best in terms of intensity (not too much) and duration (1 month +).

I found the My Shaldan version of "squash" to be waaaaaaay too strong. Like singe your nostril hairs strong. :eek:

I do not use an air freshener in my 370. In my 240Z I use the "43 year old vinyl, plastic and carpet missed with a touch of gasoline and exhaust" air freshener.

It is a custom blend.

I realize this an old thread, but I just found it ...... :o

When I was younger, i would always wad up a pair of my girlfriends panties and toss them under the front seat. It worked pretty well to keep a crispness in the air...

The only other one I can stomach having in the car is driven titanium rain gel.

Maybe this is why my air freshener wasn't working :icon14:. This is what it looked like when I bought my 2010 used in 2016, from the dealer, who said "oh, he wasn't a smoker. That smell is from the carpet cleaning chemicals." yeah right. I ozoned it myself and found it did have an in-cabin filter that really needed replacing. Now it smells like new.

Still like my Black-Ice Tree's w/a splash of Polo Red every now & then.

My woman likes the stuff...too strong for me though! I bought it during a chemical guys binge.

I prefer CG Honeydew, that's enough to do the job without setting off the allergies!

This is what hangs from my rear view.

"chemical guys stripper scent" - Does that smell like sweat, menthol cigarettes, 100 proof booze, crystal meth, and a slight hint of funk mixed with perfume that was put on yesterday?

... I kinda miss the smell of all that debauchery. Might have to get the spray for nostalgia's sake.:rofl2:

Arm and Hammer Springtime Gel. At walmart in the automotive department.
Lasts a couple of months in the summer, and from Semtember to March in the winter/spring. Has an oder, but doesn't smell flowery.
