That is old school rocker assembly. I remember adjusting valves on my MGB every few months. Looked just like that.

Yup. I did the same yesterday. Best meet at this site this year,

Today I went and bought peaches in PA, took them to the church youth annual MudBall event. (Volleyball in a mud pit) with a slide into the pond. Food, fun, and muck.

:happydance:

 one less thing to worry about.

Today, a couple of things...

1. Saw my life flash before my eyes: driving on way back to work after lunch, 45 mph on highway access road. Dually in front of me practically comes to complete stop to turn right into a Red Lobster parking lot, so I had to stop. Glance in rear view and see about a 1980 full size pick up bearing down on me at 45 mph. Stomping on and off brakes trying to get inattentive driver to look up from whatever she was doing BESIDES driving. Had resigned myself to the rear end impact when I heard her lock up her brakes and glancing up again to rear view saw her stopped about 3 feet from the rear of my car. She catches my eye in the side mirror and waves at me in that "I'm a dumb***, sorry about that" way. Proceeded to work with only about 5 years off my life expectancy!

2. After the recent discussion on locking lug nuts, checked my wheels when I got back to work and, sure enough, locking lug nuts. (Why would the salesman tell me, after all). Didn't have time to search for key, so let it go, then sweated it out all the way home hoping I wouldn't get a flat...yes, I know odds were about a zillion to one! Got home, put on some shorts and began my search...door cubbies, nope; glove box, nope; both seats all the way forward to look behind and under; nope; under z hatchback carpet, stock carpet, in spare tire area; nope; decide to check behind seats again and notice closed compartment behind passenger's seat above self; ding, ding, ding...sure enough, package with regular lugs and locking lug "key"....whew! On a positive note, found and discarded all kinds of little white labels from behind and under seats AND got to know my car a little better! :driving:

Besides finding my front strut blown, I was able to put on the NISMO conversion today.

Had the day to myself and that's exactly what I did, along with testing my drop with the coilovers and adjusting my camber arms. Bad part of the day that during my work I must of left the acc. on and had a dead battery, no lights, no nothing. :( Even tried a boost pack and didn't flinch, checked fuses, they looked good. So a battery purchase is in my future.

I laid eyes on mine for the first time in 6 days. Next thing to do now is change the rear diff bushing tomorrow. Yippee!...:shakes head: then a wash. In a few days.

I went to R/T tuning in Lansdale PA to get a few things tweaked and a couple pulls on the dyno and got some good results. I'm up to 440whp and 328tq! Also got the 2 and 4 point gtspec chassis braces installed, overall a good car day!

Got my CF spats right before the weekend but I was out of town so I couldn't get them on. Will be installing them tomorrow (hopefully), and have some pictures up soon!

i finally completely finished the seat install. trimmed the factory juke seat rail cover to fit with a dremel and epoxy'd the height adjustment lever on. there's no height adjustment now, but it did come on the juke. all show, no go :p
