Oh boy, when I took mine to tire guys they put the side lifts under the car but didn't move the extensions far enough and they tried to lift my car with about 1" of metal digging into the side skirts before the pad actually made contact with the body!!!!
WHOA! They stopped and fixed one side then started lifting again...WHOA! Do the other side.....ah duh, sorry. I could feel imprints on both sides...what absolute honey badgers. Minimum wage = minimum effort.

Luckily the manager of the shop and I are on good terms. I didn't check if any damage was done under when they tried to use the lift but it's because I'm feeling sick. I'll check out in a few and take it back Monday if needed. They did do the balance using jacks to lift the car at least.

bled brakes.

So they said the wheels were in balance but i still have a tiny bit of vibration at highway speed. Can warped rotors cause this? I know I have vibration under braking.

Oh these assh@ts.....

I'm suddenly running a 265 on my front and a 245 on my rear driver side. No wonder it felt weird as **** when I left.

Drove on some back roads to a state park and went hiking with the wife. Was a good day. Car is filthy though, been almost three weeks since I washed her. Covered in dust. Black sucks lol

Baked and opened the headlights for the second time in 3 weeks. Repainted, changed from all black to color matched projector housings and added halos. Also color matched my door handles.

 I last dealt with discount tire about 10 years ago, similar issues with bad product and terrible service. Fortunately a local tire business opened and has been great ever since. I would never go back to a tire business that doesn't even know (and obviously doesn't care) what size tires go on what cars. I hope you are in a position to vote with your wallet! Good luck getting it sorted out. :driving:

They fixed it today after they were technically closed. I got apologized to by the manager and a few techs. I was told that the tech that did it was reprimanded. I just feel bad because he was a young looking kid and was probably just trying to get me out of there quickly since they were so busy.
