I'm toying with the idea of flocking the dashboard in this like I did with my old S13. Not entirely sure though. Actually didn't look half bad in the 240. (only picture I had of it actually in the car)

....opinions? It was actually pretty nice as far as having absolutely no sun bouncing off the dash.

The possum started the problem, compounded by summer tires and mid 30s temps. I was only doing about 40 when the possum wandered out in the road. I don't swerve for small critters, because of the potential for bad things happening. I hit the possum with the left front tire, and instead of going over him, it skidded and upset the car. That blows, but your ending sentence had me laughing my head off in the office. Customer service thinks I am now even more insane.

fk man... hope you're okay though.

possum's are crazy. i still have nightmares of what i thought was the biggest rat i have ever seen. was kinda cute. but scary too lol

An update:

Stopped at the body shop for an estimate: Preliminary cost $3022.83, presuming he can fix the front bumper....:eek:

can you go through insurance and only pay deductible?

and then if the bumper is damaged beyond repair, would you opt for a nismo and pay the difference from an insurance claim?

I had considered an aftermarket front bumper (Amuse), but it's on the list for after the TT upgrade. I filed a claim with the insurance company, so it's just $500 out of pocket. Not horrible, all things considered. I did some more digging, since I passed through a bad accident site (2 fatalities) on my way home. The accident happened between 4:30 & 5 pm, (at that time, I was getting my car back on the road). If I had not of had the encounter with the possum at about 2:30, I would have been where the accident happened, either watching it in my rearview mirror, or been involved. :eek:

All things considered, I'll take the $500 out of pocket. :)
