Today...ROAD TRIP! Had to take wife's escape about 120 miles away to get hail damage fixed...almost one year wait in our town due to major hail storm on June 12th. Pain to go that far yes, BUT that 240 mile round trip put me at 1270...break in is OVER.

Lol, so it didn't rain on my car I cleaned yesterday...today's road trip did her in...bugs, bugs, bugs EVERYWHERE!

Here are pics of one of the tbs still installed and the backside when removed. Both were prior to being cleaned, obviously. I didn't get a shot of the cleaned version.

Hey Tracie,

I just cleaned mine out yesterday.

I didn't totally disconnect them just pulled them out far enough to get in and clean them with a brush and carb cleaner.

Mine started right up with no issue so Im guessing like it was mentioned it had to relearn the tbs position since they were disconnected.

At first I thought it was a vacuum leak But it corrected itself so thats out the window.

Good to hear its corrected.

Most likely the ecu just adjusting since you unplugged the tps'.

Discovered over the weekend that my differential bushings are shot. Now researching for a replacement. Definitely not going back to OEM.

Going with Whitelines. I'm also open to other ideas. I see some yellow Whitelines which is odd. I know SPL makes 'em but think it is overkill i don't know. It is a $45 difference between the two. Any thoughts G?

I have yet to fully examine that to give an honest opinion on what way to go.

SPL's are solid iirc. you'll get a huge increase in NVH going the solid route. id definitely go with the polyurethane whitelines. i have a set sitting around for when i either get a new LSD or my bushings go out. whichever first

I did get a code at first, but that's only because one of my MAF sensors wasn't plugged all the way in. After clearing that, no issues. Neither of the other two cars had any codes thrown either.

It is the relearning process. Mine was still doing it yesterday. If it starts doing it when you turn the car on, just let it finish and settle down. I was worried something might be wrong with mine because it did it for about 5 minutes the first time I turned the car on. But it finally settled down and is driving fine

Not really. That's just the service loaner while my car gets some facial scars removed. Hopefully I'll have it back by the end of the week.

But I seldom used its full potential and the ~90 or so pounds was ever-present. (A lot of 3/4" MDF in that slot-ported enclosure) In with the much-less-heavy: Sub and amp < 10lbs together. I'm thoroughly impressed with the little 6.5" Tang Bang sub. It doesn't have the extension or the SPL of the 10W6 with 500 watts, but it does get nice and low and has output that I would expect from a decent 8" sub. (13mm X-max from this thing!) My system now sounds like what I think a good stock system should sound like in the first place. ..And I shaved a good chunk of weight off the car.
