The Z is at the shop to fix the clutch safety switch issue and getting the rear differential oil change.

Just found out the car has to stay until Monday.... They couldn't find what's causing the ignition problem.... :(

Switched out the stock CSC which was drinking fluid. Only took 3 hours of work at my friend's shop, much easier than I thought it would be.

The stock unit was pretty moist and dripping. Went with Zspeed replacement. The engagement point is a little lower than the stock CSC, but I have an adjustable pedal so I may play around a bit with it.

:icon18:

I have almost done that in both the truck and the wife's Altima

Video as promised. So Ima rookie this year. I went way wide on at least two of the turns and could have made much better speed through the slalom. However, it was clean, no penalty.

You should give it some time before adjusting the pedal. When I had my CSC replaced with a new OEM it took a little bit of time before the engagement feel came back.

My ~Z~ would need better wrap around seats for this style driving.

Last night was my first real driving experience in the 2015 370z Nismo. I turned off the traction control and drove in an empty area very aggressively. It was a bit tougher to recover from a drift than anticipated and the back end broke free more easily than anticipated but that's probably due to my regular sports car being the 2014 SRT Viper or the last true track car I owned, the 2012 Audi TTRS with its glorious quattro and spectacular brakes.

I will say though that this Nismo is a much more fun experience than the 2014 Corvette Stingray z51 I had last year. The 370z Nismo has better steering, cornering, feels more planted than the C7.

It's not much publicized; but the manual Nismo's have a 3.92:1 rear diff in place of the 3.69:1,,,,and the A/T Nismo's have the 3.69:1 gearing...both LSD

Thanks to dragonbreath, installed Stillen HFCs and Eibach front anti-sway bar. My Z sounded great with the CBE, but sounds AWESOME with the HFCs. Couldn't be happier!

Also, worlds of difference between the stock front bar and the Eibach. It's like driving a new car. Especially since the Swift/SPL install several months ago.
