I drove her in today but now she's got nasty dirt build up from the roads.

Went for my weekly slush/snow/salt bath drive to my parent's house. I don't think i've ever seen a Z that dirty.

Don't worry no pics, I don't want anyone to have a heart attack.

Thinking of looking at jobs in CA (SD/Carlsbad area), but wondering if I can some how manage to keep my car registered in Arizona. I don't want to deal with California emissions.

True. What if I tell them that I'm visiting? I'll just change my address to my parents address and keep it registered in AZ?

I don't know if that's the proper way to do it though.

Oh I know, but it's hard to live somewhere else. The Winter's here are amazing and the Summer's are better than anywhere else (i.e. not dreadfully humid aside from two to four weeks in August).

It's just that AZ has zero culture. Zero things to do, outside of year-round golf.

I'm considering it, but change is difficult. I've been here my entire 29.9 years.

it's time haboob. if i didnt have kids, i would still be in socal.

True, but I just hear so much bad about the CA emissions and other car laws. It turns me off of ever wanting to live there.

Not to mention cost of living is way high, so a $65k/yr salary (for example) doesn't seem so great in CA as it does in AZ.

I spent a lot of years in SoCal, and I'd probably still be there EXCEPT:

1) GUN RESTRICTIONS
2) GUN RESTRICTIONS
3) GUN RESTRICTIONS

4) Smog tests

oh... must not forget... uninsured, undocumented residents...
