Put my exhaust back on. ARK Grip FTW!!!

All done! Whew long job for just the trunk. What a joy. The sound from the trunk is noticably quieter. Unfortunately I broke one of the clips of the rear hatch :(

Gotta do some research and consideration to the doors and floor

I plan on doing all the rear plus the doors. Estimated cost or a link to a thread detailing the process?

I didn't do the very back part just the bumper and 2 sides. I lined the entire thing and some parts had a base layer of some 3m junk and then used hushmat. The mega pack has 30 sheets (12x23 size) and took about 12 and a bit for the trunk area. Didn't pull the boxes just lined above them and on the wheel well.

It was worth it imo because now all the noise is coming from the front. Had my gf sit in the car and she was like the noise is coming from here :nutswinger:

Find the cheapest most convenient thing for you... hushmat or dynomat and there are a few other brands that are out there too.

Get a roller and wear gloves.

Getting closer, traction and camber arms are a work of art. Next weekend I have to myself and hope to bave it all back together and back on the ground.

Can't complete the brakes because the lines were not made correctly, Z1 taking care of it quickly though, hence the brake line hangin'...

Wow you must not drive your Z much. Looks good though, and you won't regret the SPL Parts.

Today I put 40 miles on the Z from just getting lunch, and a hose for the backyard... Needless to say, I went the long way.

Also went over her with detailer after I got home, and experimented with a different brand of tire shine. ( I really like the NXT stuff.. but I cant find it local anymore).

Pro-Clip GPS mount

I popped in a Pro-clip USA GPS mount today.
I got the one that sits on the top of the side 'plate' at the front of the console, (to the right of the ventilation controls) reaches down and clips in where this plate meets the carpet in the passenger footwell. I had tried a Garmin air vent-mount originally but I felt it moved around a little too much and I was afraid it would damage the material along the edge of the vent. I'll keep that on hand for the odd time I use a rental or Co-op car.

My Garmin sits right at arm's length and I can spin it either vertically or horizontally. I was initially concerned it might interfere with the far right 'zone' control wheel but it's just fine where it is.
The real beauty is it fits well enough that I didn't have to secure it with the double-sided tape so I can remove it and put it back on real easily.

I had that mount until my gf decided to hook it with her purse and break the bottom tab. Gotta get a new one now. Mount anyway, jury is still out on the gf...:p
