now to clean off the gunk left behind. oh and did i mention the bushing is AMAZING? my shifts are buttery smooth again. and i noticed there is a slight hum when decelerating now, but hardly noticeable

nice! glad to hear there was at least some advantage over the stock one after all the hassle. :D
now go :driving:

Purchasing some new-to-me RE-11 tires today. They come with Sport Rays, too :icon17:

I saved on shipping by buying sorta local (Houston), and it looks like I'm gonna get free delivery to my garage :excited:

Thanks, guru! :tiphat:

honestly, even if you shift hard sometimes, its only a matter of time before it goes. when it goes you have a dirty mess and a really bad shifts (unless you slip the clutch alot). i bought 3 quarts of redline mt-85 to change the trans oil this week before i noticed the diff bushing gone. i have 40k miles on mine with ~5 track days and im guessing mine went out in the last 5k miles.

i wish i wouldve changed it sooner, before it went out as a preventative measure. would've attempted a DIY instead of pay someone 100/hr to install it (properly)

I'm leaving a bit early today to head down to COTA and find out if Nismo USA left me any tickets for LeMans this weekend. If so, we'll be catching the last WEC practice session today.

Getting closer, just wish I coukd spend a full day on it and it would be done. Differential back in and shafts bolted up. Can now start putting the rest of the suspension back on and start on the brakes.

Plastidipped. My MB is now partially CY. can't tell from the pics really but this place I went to did a real crap job. They also mudded up my passenger side Z turn signal which they said they'll replace. Although I'm pretty upset about the workmanship I have to admit in pictures it looks nice. We'll see how it holds up over the next few months.
