Nissan set to unveil Vision Gran Turismo concept Monday

:barf:
|
it will never come out, just like majority of the concepts that they show
|
Yes, it's pretty obvious these days that concept cars don't usually make it to production. It is however some sort of movement on the design front coming out of Nissan which is a good sign for the medium to near term future. I'm excited to drive it on my PS3 :driving:

interesting. Nissan is always coming up with ideas and concepts , its all part of being a successful company. may reach concept but not production, as many many cars dont.
a new Z or GTR would be nice, so we'll just see what they come out with. soon enough. |
That looks more like a Chevy Camaro than a nissan Z or GTR

Kitt: Michael, Michael, hurry hit the turbo boost! Michael: hold on buddy! that GT-R ain't gonna beat us. Kitt: according to my calculations, the GT-R's trap speed is rapidly approaching 125 mph, at a low 11-sec elapsed time, and 1/4 mile distance...there is no possible way we can beat it without engaging turbo boost. Michael: not if I can help it buddy!! (Michael is flooring the gas pedal with the LED lights emitting *remember those) GT-R: psssssshhh!! turbos spooling away ....to be continued |
|
Except for the 911, all sports cars change appearances. The GTR could use one.

Haha, yes there are definitely some exaggerated lines there (grill, sides, rear). I do love the roof and wrap around windshield though. They got that spot on.

Exclusive: Nissan previews the future of GT-R with Vision Gran Turismo concept
Enough of the sleeper styling. Top tier performance should have the looks to go with it. https://s1.yimg.com/bt/api/res/1.2/j...ncept_3-1-.jpg |
way to mess up a good car with that ugly POS. whoever designed that crap should be given a pee test bottle, slapped in the head, and sent packing. defintely should say a concept and never see the light of day
|
According to the article they will eventually show what the GT-R platform would look like. I'm sure it will be toned down a bit but hopefully still have the Le Man's race car feel to it.

Video is Here

I'm sticking my neck out here, but I kinda like it. Anyone else giving this direction the thumbs up? Yeah, it needs some toned down tweaks, but at least it's a more aggressive look than the previous model. The Toyota FT1 concept has some pretty wild (gorgeous)intakes and lines...
(referring to styling, not performance) |
those wheels though... I want em NOW!!!!

The Wayne Enterprises experimental test car is very nice, but it will never be built.
I'm sick of ogling theoretical/aspirational vehicles... Nissan, roll out the next damn Z already. You have a halo car; how about something for us hardworking, proletariat humps? |
Daaaammmnnn, son...
