Well... I currently own a 06 Grand Cherokee Overland and the only thing i have done that you can see is my exhaust... I live in WV so allot of pickups try and race me all damn day. I have a streetjeeps.net sticker but that doesnt mean i want to race them plus its dangerous to race up adn down mountains lol. I hope to get my Z when i move to the DC/MD area

That because the traffic in the Balto/DC metro area is horrendous :)

I get cars wanting to race alot, just raced an IS 350 tonight. I was passing and he speed up so I down shifted and hit it and pull ahead of him by a car or two. I thought he was done so I let off and coasted then he comes zooming by. We were already up there in speed (130) so I didnt hit it again. They can move pretty good too.

Try having an orange car with a big FMIC as your daily driver :P

Only 2 guys who have tried to race me when I was in the Z were driving in a chipped 335 and an M3.

funny story this. I was driving down a very long parkway with a stop light at least every 1/8 mile, so naturally its notorious for street racing.. the cops know this. Its about 2am last Saturday, just dropped my girl off after a late show. I'm cruisin along, not many cars on the street, red light stops me. Out of nowhere some headlights come flying up beside me. A yellow Evo 9. Light turns green, and of course this idiot is chirping his BOV at me, accelerating, then slowing down, you know how they do. I notice this, laugh at him, then turn my stereo up to avoid hearing that annoying squeal his BOV keeps making. Were coming past a strip mall parking lot that is a notorious cop hiding spot. So I set my trap. I decellerated to 35mph, downshifted to 2nd and mashed the pedal until I made it to the speed limit of 55. This idiot keeps going, id say to at least between 90-100. Lo and behold, guess who was waiting for him? Our friendly town deputy bill in his whie crown vic and his flashy blue and reds. I drove by, laughed and gave the thumbs up. Street racing is a no-no. Damn noobs.

LMAO:roflpuke2:

I have noticed this, as it even makes the mini vans speed up in the other lane when they see your car... :shakes head:

That's just the way it is when you have a car like this. Just drive normally as you are. Looks much cooler that way anyway.

haha i dont own a Z, but I bet the shoes also on the other foot....

some guy sat in his porsche/ferrari/gtr etc at lights, Z comes up along the side revving loud.
porsche/ferrari/gtr owner looks across and thinks OK, and revs back.

but Guy in Z wasnt even revving for attention, he had forgot to switch off rev match lol.

Now hes sat there feeling as though hes thrown the first punch.

Anyone owners experiencing attention problems from rev match?

Why would SRM kick in when idling at a stoplight? Makes no sense.
