sunny to raining frikken cats and dogs and taffyapples that day. :ugh: car did well.

only thing i didnt like was that it was one of the cheaper trims so limited accessories.
but it's a rental so cant ask for much. and cvt sucksarse.

Kool... Now if they can get a good crash test rating it might be worth the purchase?

No, I was saying Nissan is stuck on FWD, this is to generate a separation between Nissan & Infiniti.
The Q50 is either RWD or AWD, I need to check again.

i think i have an unicorn too Kenchan:bowrofl:

PR doesn't count. There are plenty of unicorns there. In the early 2000's I learned the hard way how fast a turbo Tercel with four dudes in it was.

Whoa that is interesting....that pic was just a topic thread thrown on a local facebook page...Started reading up on it....pretty interesting "Dreamer."

Nissan is probably sticking to the FWD platform to save money on the production line....

True, overall you don't see a lot of Z's on the road. Just a slightly different body style and a little more exclusivity to those who actually know the difference.

Similar to guitars which are another bad habit of mine. I love custom shop guitars, the build quality is amazing and they are sexy to me. Most people wouldn't know the difference between a squire and a custom shop fender though.

Carvin FTW!

Well, calling a future Z owners car ugly, is somehow kidding or not offensive?

Bolio, props to you. You make an articulate argument for the Nismo Z in the face of much opposition. I hope you and all the other Nismo owners drive your Z's today and enjoy the hell out of it :driving:

b15 07-29-2014 02:11 PM

It's all in good fun. Everyone has their opinion, some are more passionate about expressing it. It's been going on forever. Nismo v. Non-Nismo. Base v. Sport package, etc. At the end of the day, it's still a Z, and it's still sexy

Davey 07-29-2014 02:47 PM

The NISMO to me is just a tricked out sports package 370Z. Can you build one yourself that will outperform it? Sure. Can you build one that won't? Of course. Is either of them a NISMO? Nope. Does it matter? Who ******* cares. :ugh:

Yup, Nissan's making it, just like they made the Juke R, all 21 of them. It would make more sense if it were a homologation special, to run Infiniti decals in V8 Supercar, or something.

just in time to compete vs the IS-F :D

This would be great, I think im just going to get a 14 PW Roadster and just add the new nismo kit, that way I have a convertible which I want, but also the new body kit which I like! Easy solution for me. Now if only I can see one in person!!! Smh

Footloose301 08-03-2014 09:11 PM

Somebody just posted these pics on Facebook from a Cars and Coffee. Black is definitely the color I want.

Footloose301 08-03-2014 09:15 PM

My car is getting higher in mileage than I'd like so I want to get something different. Not sure if a used GTR is in the near future or not, or if I'd be better off getting a new Nismo in black, manual, with the tech package, and then slapping on a Fast Intentions TT kit.

Financially I'm in a good position to get either car, but with a wedding around the corner and looking to buy a house, I might not opt for the GTR for another two years. This Z + turbo would probably hold me over.

MightyBobo 08-03-2014 09:24 PM

Sounds like you wouldn't drive either much lol

carlitos_370z 08-04-2014 07:38 AM

looks good but i have to see it in person.... i dont like those wheels and the rear spoiler

Footloose301 08-04-2014 08:34 PM

The wheels look much better in person. I'm just not sure if I like them better than 09-14's. I definitely like them as much though.

Looks like possible functional brake cooling on the sides of the bumper, which is definitely welcomed.

aszyd 08-04-2014 09:50 PM

Does anyone know if the fender flares are separate pieces, or if they are molded on? A bumper conversion wouldn't look very good if the flares are part of the mold.

Asheth 08-04-2014 10:17 PM

The fender flares just scream spacers!!!

They're for off roading capabilities. Bushwacker aftermarket now come stock.
