Default Parking brake issue

So I put hub spacers on my rear wheels and may have over tightened one of my star wheel spacers. Don't know, I had issues with it so I adjusted it to the same width as the other side which I didn't mess with at all.

I then took my car for a short drive to set the lugs so I could retighten. No issues at all. Park the car and then ran to the store a few hours later, as I pulled out I could hear the side I had to guess on the star wheel spacer setting making a whirring noise, so figured I over tightened it and it was activating the parking brake. I turned around to come back he and it popped. Now the parking brake lever is completely slack. This makes me think I busted the cable. Anyone agree? Has anyone replaced the cable on their z?

The FSM has procedures for repairing/adjusting.

Any idea what section? I found the info for the regular brakes and then the adjustment instructions for the parking brake, but am not finding anything referencing the cable itself.
