Here is Jason Plato comparing a Cayman S 6mt vs PDK.. Notice which laps faster..

Not a huge fan of auto's on sports cars, but they have came along way. I would no longer call them slush boxes for sure.

I will agree in F1 the sheer amount of sensors involved in driving and technology involved in those gearboxes will lend its self to faster laps with a sequential or auto of some sort box..

99.9999% of drivers are not going to be able to coax a manual box to beat a pdk esque box let alone a auto box around the track faster to be fair
