2014 Brake Override

Has anyone looked into bypassing the brake override on their Z. Attempted to standstill burnout the other day and realized it was equipped with a brake override. Previously on my 2012 X-Runner the bypass that I found to work was simply unplugging the brake plug only when doing it, so I'm sure that will work. But, has anyone traced wires to find out exactly what wire sends the signal to the ECU for the brake override?

No not that I know of.....when I am driving at a steady speed and keep my foot on the gas while also applying brake pressure the override kicks in and cuts power

Pull the brake light fuse. If I remember correctly, that's the way to do it

No problem. Have fun learning why Nissan installed brake override into the Z.

Is this brake override an added feature in the newer Z's? My '09 and current '10 would spin the wheels for as long as I wanted with VDC off.

Uprev has a new option to remove the brake override as you call it.

I believe so, from my understanding Toyota was involved in a huge lawsuit regarding a Toyota Prius and a drive pressing on both brake and gas and was in an accident, so maybe it is something that Nissan decided to follow to avoid any future lawsuits
