I can't believe there is any dilemma in these two options. The 12 for sure! And I'm sure you could knock it down 500 bucks if you point out a few minor issues first, like paint chips or tire wear.

They make Z's in black? and blue? I thought they only came in silver and gray?

I'd say if you have a strong color preference, then go with that!
