Alright, I need some help on the A Pillar
Hey guys, alright I cannot figure this one out and frankly not too sure what I should do. I am trying to remove the A-Pillar interior piece and this is the first time I have seen this. It is a plastic piece that I think holds the pillar in place when the airbag deploys.
The pic below show the driver side A-Pillar looking top down towards the steering wheel. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/f1mclarenagr/12761153973/" title="Capture by f1mclarenagr, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5486/12761153973_3671ebcca9_z.jpg" width="369" height="640" alt="Capture"></a> <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/f1mclarenagr/12761090383/" title="IMAG0503 by f1mclarenagr, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3761/12761090383_eae1d5d75b_z.jpg" width="362" height="640" alt="IMAG0503"></a> How the eff do I remove that circled plastic piece? I don't want to cut it as I'd rather not take a pillar to the face. Also it seems as I push the pillar back in place it "winds" back into the plastic housing on the pillar itself. Tried searching but didn't find much. Same with google |
i believe mr.gale told me to turn it with a needle nose plier 90 degrees to release.
you can thank mr. gale for his input. |
