2010+ got the HDD navi system with a higher resolution screen. The 09s had the old system

It does tick me off that the clock in the cluster and the clock on the nav aren't synced automatically.

Maybe one is an outside clock and one is an inside clock??

They didn't use the same crystal therefore they have slightly different oscillation frequencies which overtime becomes very evident by difference in times. Yes, its annoying as hell.
