Nah, not a thread - a smilie. Like , only the sign says "Call DE.50".

Then we can see how many newbies ask "Hey, what's up with the 'Call De.50' smilie? Who the f is DE.50?"

More of a growl, wheel bearing. More of a scrape, check the dust shield behind the rotor, especially if the front brakes were recently replaced.

More like a scraping noise. No brake work and it's in the rear. However I will check out the dust shield and make sure it's not bent and touching the rotor.

I had a pebble get stuck and it made a nasty grinding/metal on metal sound. It popped out eventually.

I thought it was that but can't see any pebbles lodged in there. Gonna check out the backing plate in a bit and if all else fails I'll take it to the dealer myself instead of letting the spouse.

If you jack up the side making noise, leave the tire on and see if there is any play with your hands at 12 & 6. Also try at 3 & 9. If the wheel bearing is out you should feel some movement. Any movement is bad.

If you have 12 & 6 suspension movement by hand that's bad also.. I know I can't compress my springs by hand..
