:icon17: if the FT-1 turns out to be an affordable (<$50 sports car) i might look into it. but it wouldnt be to replace my Z. |

might not replace your Z but I bet it could replace your G! :stirthepot: |

yah, that could be the plan indeed. was hoping i could get something with 4 seats though in a 2door coupe form... |

why 4 seats? your kids are getting bigger and those back seats are totally useless IMO. Or do you look at it from the insurance prospective? I know a 2 door 4 seater is cheaper to insure then a 2 door 2 seater kind stupid because technically you could kill more people in a 4 seater. but thats what insurance told me :ugh2: but they are all liars just like all the lieyers out there, I mean lawyers :roflpuke2: |

but that's the only reason for the 4 seats. i like to drive solo. it's my personal space, away from family, away from work, away from everything. just me. my wife's never driven my Z (can't drive MT), she sat shotgun only once. my older kid has tagged along a few times. |

:iagree: driving solo can be nice stress relief  I can't wait till my little guy gets to that point  |
you'll be there in no time, LMB. time just accelerates exponentially after having kids. :D

My toys all have V8's the rest are for DD.
Edit: the next toy will have a 3. lol |
Hmm..will I ever sell my Z? Well it depends. The Z was my first car at 19, and in a way holds sentimental value to me. However, that would not stop me from trading or selling it on impulse if I wanted a better looknig car. Quite honestly, there is not better looking car than the 370Z right now in the same price range. Right now I am waiting to see how the next gen z will look. That might be my first test as to whether I sell my Z or not. Other than that, I do indeed plan on keeping my Z for as long as I possibly can. Most likely it seems that in the long future a paint job would be very well needed. The only other car in my eyes right now is a 911(991) S but that will not happen until I finish school :/ haha.

Did not think I would sell my Z for some time. But a beautiful low mileage Jetstream Blue Metallic Tintcoat 2010 Corvette caught my eye. Z was gone in less than a week!
Kind of funny, Wife and Daughter Liked the Z better. Wife drove the Vette and her opinion changed. Vette is a beast and rides better with more room. A 370Z is more rare in my area and attracted more attention. Sometimes I do miss the Z, but enjoy the Vette more. |
I plan on keeping mine until it no longer functions or can be repaired. If it were stock, then I may consider lert8ng it go. All of the cars that I have modified, I have kept until they were unservicable.
It was stated before that having another vehicle helps. I have another vehicle right now, but that will change. I would kept my Z much closer to stock if I did not intend on keeping it forever. Oh yeah........2 seats mean one peeson can ride, period! Sent via Tapatalk 4 on D-Team Note II |
I will never ever ever sell my Z.

In all seriousness, Vettes are great cars and I can see myself in a C7 one day. I owned a 72 Vette and a 78 280Z, BM (before marriage). I always told myself, I'd own one of each again one day. Now that my kids are done with college, got the Z checked off :tiphat: |
