you can call up nissan consumer affairs and see if they can reimbuse you for the work. they should. the same damn lock is used. even the recalled lock will eventually fail unless you do the brown wire cut or fuse pull.

The guy just said it is the jf00D or something. And itll be 1100 to fix. ****, im a 21 year old living paycheck to paycheck. Im literally going to be overdrawing my bank by the end of the month with my bills. Fml

there should be a JF00E out by now... but the recall does call out JF00D.
i cracked up when i saw that thinking it looked like j-food (teriyaki or something :icon17: )

my car came with JF00B, JF00C is in there right now, working JF00B in the trunk for backup. :p

Where exactly is the lock? I looked on the underside of the wheel but didnt see anything, is it more by thr footwell and obdII port? Im going to go back to the dealership in the morning and beat the hell out of it. If Ibreak it even more than oh well its already broken, right? I just cant afford to spend 1100 on this

you have to lay on your back completely and look directly up behind the steering column take a flash light.
