Finally got around to installing my Z1 Motorsports/Setrab 34 row oil cooler, and guess what, it won't work on my 2014. Seems my car has an extra collar like thing

Adding oil cooler problem on 2014
Finally got around to installing my Z1 Motorsports/Setrab 34 row oil cooler, and guess what, it won't work on my 2014. Seems my car has an extra collar like thing on the side of the oil pan where the filter attaches. This takes up about two inches and make it impossible to get a wrench on the filter to loosen or tighten. Looking at pics in the DIY oil change section, and this part is definitely not present on earlier models. Is this plumbing for and extra cooler that earlier models don't have? This blows!
