Also, Valentine updates it's circuitry when the need arises. You can go on their site and make sure you have the latest tech by entering your serial #...then send in your V1 and have it updated if you don't. Do others offer that option? I'm unaware if they do or not. I've owned my V1 for 10 yrs and used it mostly when riding my CBR1000RR in the twisty roads of the Angeles Forrest. My V1 has never let me down. It has paid for itself many times over.
