Dealer Over Inflated Tires

^^ The point is, you're paying for full service and shouldn't have to redo their work. Will you drain the oil if you realized it was over-filled? I'm not saying

Here is some good advice for you. Get an alignment A.S.A.P. My tires were feathered to hell after 20k. Really watch your tire pressures and you can get good mileage out of your tires. I normally run 30r and 31f.

Isn't 35 psi all around the recommended tire pressure?

Even at that psi I was getting center line wear. This is one of those situations tjat depends on each drivers driving characteristics. Like what the temp is when they go to work, temp when they go home, is it a straight line or is it curvy, etc. Im dialed in and have over 40k on my fronts with 4mm of tread left. The rears are the second set and are at 25k ish?

I got the car this past August, delivered, the PSI was correct @35. I've been maintaining 35.5 as my top off, and haven't had the sensor triggered for any amount, under or over.

I was just surprised that after my first oil change, is when they actually over inflated.

There just must a be a few knuckle heads working there.

Its hard to turn away from my dealer though: Free car washes with no limits, $39.99 full synthetic Mobile 1 oil changes, lifetime engine & transmission warranty.

I can deal with over inflating here and there, will just check it myself when I get the car back each time.

This is a commend pratice with dealerships. When ever I take my wife's car or when my own is being serviced I always tell them "Don't worrie about the tire pressure, I will take care of it"!!

$39.99 for a complete Mobil 1 oil change is a steal. For that much I wouldn't mind servicing the tires myself.

Im taking her in for her first oil change on wednesday, and will put placards as ShutokuZ did
Bro 40 psi is fine! Not sure what you are sweating it for. You will get better mpg with 40psi but a little rougher ride... mine were almost at 60 psi when I took delivery of my nismo... I rechecked it all before I left the stealership

Just out of curiousity OP. What kind of tire gauge are you using?

Word that's what I'm saying. Mine may have been more like 56 or something but regardless they were over inflated

I actually prefer 40 on the front and 36 in the rear.
