And fiiiiine, I'll post a legitimate response:
I voted the last option. I got exactly what I wanted from the car. Some days I wish I would have gotten the 7AT (******* traffic), but in the end I don't, because it's not a dual-clutch system, so I don't want a poser tranny (:ugh:). |

I agree with Haboob, LAID, btw I am really happy with the convertible . And Officer Bennett with the Texas Highway Patrol seems to like it as well!

When I bought the '13 I got the only manual transmission they had a touring + sport in black. It wasn't until after this that I saw the awesome Midnight Blue so that's one of my regrets, the other is a backup camera which I will probably get eventually. I have to decide if I want to go through the hassle of pulling out the bose and getting a system with nav/backup or just opt for the rearview mirror backup cam combo. That being said, I love my Z!

I got it right from the jump.
While I got my 40th Anniversary slightly used it had everything I could want, its the sport + touring and even has the Nav option that 'mericans can't get (on the 40th) so I'm happy I drove the 2 hrs to find it. I wish I had the illuminated kick plates and eventually ended up getting them last summer. So when speaking of options out the gate...not one regret! |

I just remembered. Not on your list and not about anything on the Z itself but otherwise I should have considered. An extended warranty for my peace of mind.

Umm.I was pretty much set on having a Gun Metal or Pearl white Z with Sports package.
I ended up with Metalic black which was probably my 3rd option. I did not really consider it in the past, but it wasn't something I would pass on right away. So, in regards to paint..sometimes I wish I did get the Gun metal. I wish the gun metal was slightly darker like the 40th though. Black paint has made me invest heavily on detail supplies. Overall, I am happy with the black paint..it looks the best when clean The one I checked on the poll: getting the Touring. It wasn't a big deal to get touring or not (besides the price tag), but sometimes I do wish I had gotten that slightly extra better looking interior. (Radio, Seats, Side pannels things) oh well.. |
As far as convertible, I would have loved to get one, but here in FL the general population "walking" the streets, would prevent me locking it....because they just cut into the top, open the door, and even if there's nothing in there, they still look...we have a lot of those street walking people. And we all know no one pays any attention to car alarms anymore.
Other than that I'd love the convertible in FL, but honestly it is hot as hades down here with top down might be murder! So I guess I lied a tiny bit in my vote, I did get what I wanted, and what's safest for me as a DD at malls, at movies, at clubs, at NIGHT, etc. when the crack addicts are roaming. |

I planned for months before contacting a dealership. I'm so torn between Gun Metallic and Pure White that I kicked around buying two Zs. :roflpuke2::rofl2::roflpuke2::rofl2:

shoulda got the bigger brakes...i have a base :shakes head:

Without getting into the "which is a better value model Z" I love the base model I got because of what I wanted to do to it. Color was the only thing I was really looking for; black. Only reason I'd go with a better model is because of the calipers; everything else I'd augment and replace.

I got exactly what I wanted. 2013 Gunmetal Base, 6sp, with the sport package. Leather was a must have for me, so I had the dealer install black leather. I did the same thing with my 350z Track Edition back in '03. Stock stereo is a bit weak, but it doesn't sound like the Bose system in the Touring is much better.
