I was on the line, but it looks exaggerated from dashcam's view. problem is visibility in that spot. you have to move out a little to see the traffic.

Winycam dashcam? If I were in your shoes, I'd have to need a new pair of pants. Good thing you weren't injured or anything bad!

Can't watch from mobile... ;-(

I would have drifted underneath the truck-bed like Fast&Furious status. Be a man about it next time.
Jk, that was close. Good thing you honked |

In the US we are supposed to stop BEHIND the line.

What the hell is a semi doing turning down a small street like that anyways?
He needs to swing out wider before making the turn next time. As for the stop line, stopping on the stop line is legal in the US and you were fine anyways where you stopped, OP. I'm sure Canadian laws are similar anyways. Semi drivers think they own the road, I hate them. They need to stay in the right lane, damn it. |

I was a passenger in a mini pick-up when a large truck turned the corner the same way. The driver had his window down and I heard him say "I think I can make it" right before his rear wheels mounted the hood. He didn't even have a scratch.

Where did you get the dashcam? I'd love to have something like that! |
I just snagged a hero 3+ (big sale at the PX) and the issue is mounting it for me.

I bought the dashcam from ebay. LIVUE LB100. Average low light quality but daylight is good. $160 with import fees. I ran a group buy in our company, $100 each. The guy might give you the same deal if you're interested, send me a text |
ze, Good of you to admit that you should've stopped earlier as the truck was already in the intersection making his turn before you approached the stop sign. Also very good of you to use your horn and reverse for the truck. :tiphat:
I really hate to see damaged Z threads. |

dang.. you can still drive the Z today...!!!?? jealous jealous...!!!
btw, you are lucky that the truck did hear your honk... |

SReaM it OUt YOOO:wtf2:

1st of all, sir, you acted very graciously. You didn't cuss out the truck driver. You probably saved him his job, because had his company found out about his poor driving (had he hit you)...the poor guy would probably be fired.
2nd, using a dashcam like that saves lots of "he said, she said" in case you got into an accident. No ambiguity, but can be a double edge sword if you're indeed at fault...But if you were at fault...you wouldn't mention the dash cam :) 3rd, no one was hurt. Good job my man! |

not sure if that was a good thing though.... if he didnt swirve out of the way he may not have had to keep his fugly car. :p ;) |
