to the OP
1. If you need to be somewhere at a certain time, leave early. 2. If you are running late a police officer can make you run even later. 3. If you need to speed, take it to a track. I had a friend who was always trying to find ways to speed without getting caught. Well it caught up with him. Key phrase "had a friend." He left a 1 yr old son behind. Are a couple of minutes really worth it? Peace. |
They'll get you one way or another!
"The Iowa State Patrol is now experimenting with the latest gadget aimed at reducing the number of pursuits. It’s a mini air cannon that mounts on the patrol car’s push bar. It fires a GPS device that’s designed to stick to the back of the fleeing vehicle. The officer can then lay back at a safe speed and distance and track the suspect by satellite." |
On the subject of laser, I got pinged yesterday, 41 in a 25. Problem is that the speed limit is normally 45, but it apparently was during the time the school zone was active. The other challenge, I had no way of knowing the school zone was active, since the sign is before I turn onto the street. I don't pay attention to the time, so might be easy to get tossed out. :ugh2:

Usually the same cost as the ticket, but it is a probation of 3 months and it doesn't get put on your record if you don't get any other violation. Kicker, if you get another traffic violation of any kind you have to pay fine and it gets put on your record. |
[QUOTE=ElVee;2575289]And yet still illegal. :)

How is one supposed to know it's a school zone if it's not stated at the time they pull onto said road. Should be pretty easy to get it thrown out. |
