IIRC, there still has to be something done with the TMPS's to get them to communicate with the car. They can't just be swapped/installed and good to go.

I'll ask my buddy that did my wheels when he's awake. Still way too early for anyone here. :icon17: Except the me...

wow, that sucks. on my dd i run 2 sets of wheels one set with and one set without tpms tx. i just have to drive it around the block with the set with tpms and the system resets itself.

another reason why im glad i dont run tpms on my Z. that would just drive
me insane. :ugh2: i put a circle e-tape over the lamp. :icon17: haha

The TPMS I had put in my new wheels were from a base model set of wheels I bought used, didn't come on my car. I don't remember them throwing the light the couple of times I used them before removing the TPMS, maybe they did. I think I just need to reset everything so the will start communicating.

hummm.. tpms needs to be paired (sync'ed?) manually to the car so not sure how the wheels that weren't on your car from factory paired to the system.

That's the thing, I'm not sure now after putting on the new wheels that they did work before when I had the wheels on my car. I guess I just didn't notice the light. Only had them on while doing some autocross events, so really wasn't looking at the dash like I would have been just driving around town.

Now they need sync'ed

Hmmm, don't know. I bought them through the classifieds on here. I'll have to see if I can find that thread.

Had a issue with my local Wheels Works.. They had a broken light to re flash
the tpms. Went to my local Nissan dealership.. Reset for free. Problem gone....

yah, that's going to be important to know when you go to your nissan dealer for the reset.

I found the thread and sent a message to the guy I got them from to find out.

yah, hope you have the ones that work on your car. otherwise i would just swap them out for some standard metal stems.
