Mt Tam I am 11-15-2013 08:50 PM

I wanted a Nismo briefly. If I was a young man I'd have gotten it. As I am not, I chose the creature comforts of the Touring and had to have the sports package as well. This package has worked well for me.

Good luck.

Oh wait... Maybe he is right?!:ugh2:

Basically, the washer mod is people adding extra washers to the exhaust pipes to create a exhaust leak making the exhaust sound louder and better. Elanshimoto washer mod is just a fancy name for the washer mod.:inoutroflpuke:

It could have the actual Nismo CBE on it. Are the pipes/muffler stainless steel/shiny?

Oh that definitely wasn't the case, didn't see any leaks whatsoever

to be honest, I don't even remember what it looked like lol, if you show me a picture of the actual exhaust on another nismo i'll probably be able to tell you if it was the same one or not

im thinking its not the Nismo exhaust since it has two mufflers, which Im pretty sure the nismo only have 1 muffler that is connected to the tips.. kinda disappointed, didn't want a modified nismo

The first picture is an oem nismo exhaust. The second picture is a typical aftermarket exhaust. You sure it's not an oem nismo exhaust?

im thinking the previous owner did a muffler delete because it looks very similar to the oem nismo but its more like straight pipes throughout the whole thing instead of the muffler being connected to the tips.. is that a common thing to do?

Yea muffler delete is pretty common. The oem nismo exhaust has "nismo" marks on the tips. That will tell you if it's oem or aftermarket.

Mine does have the 'nismo' marks on the tips, but the tips are connected with straight pipes and not the muffler... im guessing this is mainly to make it sound more aggressive, because there is no way Nissan would produce something this loud :ughdance:

Expecting a dealership to know anything about any car that they're selling is like a expecting a hooker to have done a residency in OB/GYN; they're both just trying to sell you a product, regardless of how well they understand how it works.

Hopefully my premium washers hit stores this Christmas! Get ready everyone! Gains should be 15whp per washer!

18,ooo miles is a lot in a year.. at $32k, if it were me, I'd go ahead and buy brand new 2013 or 2014 for $43k.. I had a similar deal before i purchased mine, but this guy only had 3K miles on his.
