Found it: 1999 Accord LX 4cy. :)

If I sell my Z, it'll be a hard one to swallow. Seriously taking a break for awhile to focus on more important matters.

I am taking it as a bit of miss communication. I believe Mt Tam I am was asking where your pictures were not where you were asked for the pictures.

I wouldn't mind seeing your pics too. I programmed some of the robots that welded and painted your car.

2000 Civic LX. Tell ya, makes leaving the Z on jackstands for mods a no-brainer.

And Baer, enjoy the ZL1. ^^

Congrats on the purchase! Nice car! Plans are coming soon I bet.

7AT_Z 11-18-2013 09:48 PM

Why do you believe that the ZL1 would be more fun than your Z? The ZL1 is a BOAT. 4000lbs if im not mistaken. Are you planning on only drag racing it or something because your Z would have walked it hard around a track and if you know how to drive properly, would have given it a run for its money on the strip. It's a beauty don't get me wrong, I just don't understand the switch. Gas mileage is a hell of a lot worse, I don't know if you guys have to pay a gas guzzlers tax or not, insurance is more, parts are more expensive... etc etc. I'm not trolling, I'm just trying to figure out why you would want the switch

B/C I own it now and it is better in every way except it is bigger in size whereas the Z can be thrown in a corner where as the ZL1 must have a good approach angle b/c of the weight and the ZL1 will pull over 1g on the skidpad, most people think it is a crazy move until you can drive one.

7AT_Z 11-18-2013 10:09 PM

I have driven one. They are fast as hell, but I could really feel the weight, which I didn't like. 3rd gear is, in my opinion, its best gear. When I hit 3rd that thing pulled like a monster. I still think a TT Z would be a hell of a lot more fun, because it would run a ZL1 down on any given track, but to each their own. Enjoy her!

I had a 625hp SC Nismo before this, the 370 is not that much better than the ZL1.
I had a SC 2010 sport touring for 3 years and a 2013 Nismo SC for 1 year,I've had enough of the Z I need something with more power.

cv129 11-18-2013 10:23 PM

Congrats, and magnetic ride ftw.

Buddy and I test drove a CTS-V, the power was just unreal and addictive. Test drove a C63 AMG next and car felt civilized in comparison, if you can ever call a C63 that.

They are fast, as I type I've got parts coming to put me right at 650rwhp.:happydance:

7AT_Z 11-18-2013 10:42 PM

Hmmm well 650RWHP isn't that much more power on a huge v8 compared to a baby v6... I don't think you looking for more power because you could have had a TT Z between the two Z's you had. So I do think you just got bored for some unknown reason to me. You should have gotten a GTR if you wanted more power than lol

650rwhp is 750 at the engine I don't know why that isn't really any more power, and as far as the GTR it's a auto I don't want anything to do with that plus it is over priced,I've worked on them before it 25-30k over, the twin turbo Z's will have a hard time keeping up with a 750hp Camaro that pulls over 1g on a skid pad.
You guys don't see it yet while the 370 is a great car and I would recommend it to anybody but it has it's limites and I've been there and done that,I do all my own work, alignments,SC install,Tuning with Uprev,it now time for something more challenging.

Chuck33079 11-18-2013 10:54 PM

It's official I'm out!!!!!!

It's not about the hp, its about torque. That thing makes a whole hell of a lot more of it and its fantastic. And I envy the adjustable suspension they put on the ZL1 and CTSV.

Not to mention 650whp out of a SC V8 is a mild build. There's more in it I'm sure.

7AT_Z 11-18-2013 11:21 PM

I don't want you to think I'm hating on your car at all. Its amazing! lol
I just wanted to see what you were thinking and why. I just feel like the money spent on the ZL1, you could have had a built, TT Z putting out 800-1000hp and weighs 700lbs less. That's just the way I see it. I'll stick to my bikes though, they will forever be faster than any car for 100x cheaper :p
I love my Z, but I love my 220hp S1000RR a little bit more ;) lol

Are you ever going to tell us what parts you ordered or are you going to make us find out the hard way :p

TerribleONE 11-19-2013 12:33 AM

Congrats man the ZL1 is a badass ride.

Baer383 11-19-2013 04:36 AM

I have been working on cars for 25 years and over the past 4 have been wrenching on the 370 WAY too much by starting with the ZL1 it is easier to get to where I want to be with a lot less work I get bored working on my stuff I rather just do a little work and enjoy it appossed to working on it for a year to get it the way I like it.:icon17:

Baer383, sad to see you go, but looking forward to seeing what you do with the ZL1.
Thank you for all the help on the forum and sharing your knowledge.

Chuck33079 11-19-2013 10:05 AM

What he said.

Also, before you go can you share your secret for getting the Z1 hood struts to fit 100% right? The 99% right I've got right now is starting to annoy me.

kenchan 11-19-2013 10:05 AM

should i get me a vette next? i priced one out and it was $56k or something MSRP.

m4a1mustang 11-19-2013 10:08 AM

I hope I see this beast at ZDayZ next year.
