Exactly right!!! theres on theing that a compressor does that a fan cant do. Overcome pressure. Thats why they dont work. Thats fluids 101. but theres nothing that says if you can supply an electric motor with 2 horsepower of electrical power that you cant power a specifically designed compressor wheel to build pressure.....which leads me to another advantage...

If you know anything about the advantage electric motors have over gasoline engines. its that the torque is immediately available for the second power is applied...

If you know anything about about the disadvantage of using a huge turbo on a small engine, simplyt put, is that the small engine has to be turning oober fast just to spool the turbo. that is because the turbo requires the air that it is putting into the engine from the compressor side to spool the turbo at the exhaust side. and small engines use less air than larger engines.

A properly fitted electric motor can spin a larger compressor wheel immediately generating max boost at even 1000 rpm just as easily as it could a smaller compressor.
