If the frs/brz was $20k, it probably would not have been a midlife crisis car? More a 20 something car.

All I see driving them are 20 somethings..................

Any time I read an article and the writer puts something like " Sad, that" I won't read any more of it. Come on if you are a journalist write like one not some dumb kid trying to be cool with his twenty something friends.

Dont get me going on the "Twins". I have a very long thread on the 350z site, one on here too. To summarize..I HATE that BRZ. Most overrated POS on the planet!! My main point of contention is I priced them out, test drove two, they wanted $29K OTD for a BRZ. It handles....well its fun to handle. put it this way, stock handling SUCKS!! Because its fun to handle does not mean it handles well. Fun is not fast either, that being its completely gutless in any gear at any RPM. My sisters Honda Odyssey will show its taillights to this limp wrist. If it were 20, 21K OTD, be a different story. Needless to say i picked up a 2013 Z for a couple grand more. Z will EAT that BRZ on ANY track at any time.

The twins are the most overrated cars of the 21st century. It's amazing what repetitive, corporate sponsored advertising does for a product.

Haven't they been selling boatloads of these things? Isn't that what a good ad campaign is supposed to do- sell lots of cars?

i heard overall sales for the brz/frs has been weak, and that prompted toyota to blame subaru for the excessive cost on the drivetrain. their marriage is not going so well, so i read somewhere.

if those tomica cars are like $20K, i think it's a good buy. $25K is pushing it, $28K otd is ridiculous. the car needs at least another $3K-5K to make it look right anyway...

yah, that car was suppose to be a $25K car, no? and by that, i mean a otd price with some options on it. wtf was toyotaburu thinking.

Those cars are overpriced and overhyped. RWD? Check. Lightweight? Check. Fast? No. A DC2 Integra R from the late 90s packs almost the same punch. I wouldn't be surprised if that little FWD could keep up, or even beat the FRS at the track.

I would rather purchase a used HR Z33, Z34, Evo, STi, Miata, S2K, etc., for the price of a new BRZ. The list actually goes on. Hell, for $10K more, you can get a Ferrari 308 GTB/GTS. Magnum P.I., anyone?

I do not, but I expect someone who writes for a living to use proper English. I am a high school dropout and still use better grammar.
