Do you plan on going turbo or supercharged?

With one of these it wont matter what transmission you have.

In general if you add any forced induction an auto can and eventually will cost slightly more then a manual.

I know nothing on this subject. Why though, is the auto slightly more?

Because boost makes autos explode once you get over 400whp or so. It may not be immediate, but eventually it will **** the bed. With a manual, just throw in a new clutch and you're good to go.

do basic bolt ons.

intake
headers
exhaust
tune

have 330whp and enjoy

Damn! As always, whenever I come across something I want and it's cheap - they don't ship to Canada. Arghhhh!

flux capacitor jokes... Lol.

If you call $7,000 plus labor on a transmission build and tune slight?

The simple non technical reason is that manual transmissions are pretty simple and automatics have much more going on. Simple is usually cheaper then complex. If you want to learn more about transmissions so you can understand the technical reasons why there is a cost difference here are some links.

specifically for an auto transmission? the GTM valve body upgrade and a transmission cooler...if you can fork up the dough for their stage 4 tranny, that'd be sweet.

probably your best upgrade would be a Quaife and a 3.692 or 4.08 final drive gear.

see my review :P
