I just did a 1/4 mile run this Tuesday - 14.022s @ 99.22mph. I let the clutch out at ~3500rpm and still spun for a good half second before gaining traction otherwise I could have hit mid 13's. 4.5k - 5k sounds way too high to me. You want the tire chirp. I have to experiment with it more.

Power shifting to me I thought was shifting at the proper time each gear to keep the RPM needle in the peak power band for maximum torque (not HP).

And dumping the clutch is bad unless you're planning on replacing it a lot sooner than you would normally. You can ease relatively slowly into 1st and still pull down a decent time. Dumping through 2,3,4 isn't as bad since the change in revs isn't as great as dumping from 4k
yeah ur right. dumping from 2nd 3rd 4rd 5th 6th isnt as bad as 1st but i still want someone to confirm if power shifting is changing gears while the gas pedal is fully pressed from 1st to 6th. and also if we dont dump the clutch and get back on the gas very fast our 1/4 mile time would be much slower then automatic because if you dont dump it then its going to take more time to get back on the gas while in automatic the gas pedal is always pressed down

Agreed. I have no problem dumping through 2,3,4 but dumping at 1st isn't worth it unless you're ready to pay for a new clutch a lot sooner. Or - get your time as low and consistent as possible easing into 1st, then dump 1st to shave it down. That way at least you're not tearing up your clutch while still trying to get the hang of shifting properly through to 3rd or 4th to keep your power up
