So how's the transmission (have you been grinding gears?)... You said you are learning to drive a stick in this car, you should have bought an old car that was a manual and practiced and then purchased your 35K sports car...
|
no gear grinds ever. Although my first gear is sometimes slightly jerky but no more stalling no gear grinds. Transmission is great and the Clutch is getting more feely as i drive more often. Thanks for asking =) I would tap rev on first gear to get rolling adn then sometimes i guess im letting the rmp fall like 100 too much and the car moves jerky and then i give it more gas i think im not giving it enough gas.

Change your oil before 1500 miles to get rid of the "break in" shavings and then your good to go :) |
Might have something to do with the avi pic of you sitting on the hood of your car. The Nissan gods are not pleased

You are looking at this all wrong... This is an opportunity flare out the rear quarters even more like project white dragon (that will never be finished).

LOL brettin. Thanks bro great advice.
SO update. Body shop said they will do EVERYTHING for 1700. Yay. Now for the rear quarter panel they said there going to hammer it back into place, so reshape the metal, then bondo, then sand, prime, paint. Is that the usual process? How do you even get to the rear quarter panel from what i know you have to get into the interior of the car, but from which place? Can then do it from the bumper area or are they going to have to go in from inside the car behind the seat? |

its not like they do bad work i mean there busy for a reason you know?
i told them to use the least amount of Bondo possible, and where do they start the disassembly from the exterior or interior from what i heard its the interior |
Just because they have a lot of cars there doesn't mean they are "good" once I had a car rear enden me (08 Lancer) and I took it to this place where my insurance recommended the color looked great but after a few month water was apparently getting inside my trunk and rusting the panel underneath the spare tire, they wouldn't redo their work without charging me. It was a shop that you wold imagine would do great work, it was located in a great town with expensive cars there (Fort Lee). Read reviews on google and other sites to see if they are truly good as they claim to be.

hmm maybe ill just remove the tiny dent in bumper and replace tail light and fix quarterpanel then hopefully i can still do it for about 2k then ill leave the bumper as is and just order the brackets that might have broke. bumper isnt too bad.
