Who might have the highest mileage 370z?

Highest mileage from what I see goes to the fellow member with the CY 370Z. USMCASA

Bought my '09 new and have only 12,200 miles on her. She's four years old now. I'm 65. At this rate, I'm sure she's going to outlive me!

USMCASA 10-28-2013 06:18 AM

forgot to mention that i'm also on the stock clutch that came on the car, drive the piss out of it and can't get it to slip... SRM saves your clutch, keep it on!

2009 with 91k and still running like a beast! Plan on going with Stillens supercharger here soon as well. As long as you properly maintain your machine, it'll treat you right.:driving:

Current pic of engine bay.

You're a good 17k miles behind me. Not sure if that's good or bad.

RCL 11-03-2013 06:33 PM

the VQ37 should be able to hit 300k without any major problems.

is FI on an engine with that many miles okay? Honest question, I never thought about throwing any sort of FI on a motor with high miles.

So as of right now, I just hit 36k. Lol

Check back in a few years, I should be averaging 30K+ a year in THIS car.
This year though, I have probably driven a total of 50k, right on target. And in TX when I lived in Dallas, my gf lived 250 miles away in Houston, so I had a 500 mile round trip every week, sometimes twice a week depending on the occasion. (Drove over for Valentine's dinner, then back to Dallas at like 2AM)

Reminded me about my ex back in England. I drove 500 per week to see her. My BMW at the time hit 220K miles before I sold it off. Was a mere 318is as well.

No. I didn't marry her. Instead I moved 4500 miles further to the FL to be with my current wife.

Yup. Turbos are great on "loose" engines.

he's mentioned it before in (edit) another thread that i can't find(edit)...

a few csc changes were the biggest problems it looked like. he's probably used more oil than gas for some of our newer memebers :bowrofl:

Sorry was out driving, LOL

Nothing big other then the CSC a few times, and the usual SL, front hubs and a ECU. Fuel sending unit a couple time for not reading full...I'm sure there are some others, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Limeybastard 01-03-2015 10:09 PM

How.many ball joints and suspension parts changed out?

Really as far as that goes just a set of front hubs at about 175000 miles.

2010 7A/T with sports package. Oil change at every 5k~6k for Nissan Ester (rarely Mobil1 Full Synthetic), immediate part changes whenever necessary at the dealorship maintenance, no tune-ups at all. Tires (currently) Michellin Super Sport.

.. how long can run with Nissan's VQ37VHR engine? How do you think about its own lifespan&reliability??

I'm the original writer on this post.

Now I hit 100K !!

My 370Z still runs excellent and also Time flies !!

1) took 5 secs around for 0 to 60 when calculated by a paid app on Android. (with some stuffs had at the trunk)

2) BlackStone reports says my engine looks pretty good overall.

3) I feel like it gives me little bit slower (less than a second) response when I do the full-acceleration. But cannot say sure cuz I don't remember how my 370Z ran when hitting 10~60K (for those range powertrain warranty available) I live so hard :D One day I'd better take the compression test to see objective.

4) + I love Nissan. Best price-to-performance ratio in the market !! Maybe one of those best three - BMW 1M, Chevy Corvette, and Nissan 370Z.

great anyway !!

I now live in California, originally from Korea that we use KMs as basic unit too.

Do you see many 370Zs in your area ?? I heard that less than 200 numbers of 370Z currently exist in Korea.

Very rare, by that like a super-car.

:o

ah .. and one more. Do you use any Police Radar Detector there ??

What RD do you use ?

Does Canada police enforce aircraft (I mean, the air patrol) for speeding ticket ?
