100,000 mile club for 370Z
1 Attachment(s)
Anyone who has driven over 100k? Now I hit 70k around one and half year after my purchase!!
* 2010 7A/T with sports package. Oil change at every 5k~6k for Nissan Ester (rarely Mobil1 Full Synthetic), immediate part changes whenever necessary at the dealorship maintenance, no tune-ups at all. Tires (currently) Michellin Super Sport. .. how long can run with Nissan's VQ37VHR engine? How do you think about its own lifespan&reliability?? |

I'm only at 7.4k after 1 1/2 year of ownership |
Actually it seems running better than a new !!
And.. yours should be your second car, right? 7.4k after one & half year.. that's very little!! |
I am only at 29.3k right now but I drove about 6k miles in 4 months! This is my only car for now so I may hit the 100k club in the future as long as there are not too many problems:)
|
Mine is a 2011 and has 7,024 on it...
|
Mine is a 2010 with 52K miles on it. I'll be at 100K soon enough.
Still drives like the day I rolled it off the lot (care and maintenence FTW) |
I got an '09 with 56k
|
Yes there are people with 100k+
See related thread: http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-g...ally-100k.html |
^yup, sitting at 118k at the moment :driving:
|
Just hit 6k on ours. Had the steering lock changed out under the recall. Of course I had the dealership by-pass it just like the original. New air filters, coolant flushed and replaced. Trunk latch replaced. Changed over to royal purple oil. Computer upgraded. Should be good to go for another 5 years.

Who knows if I'll ever get to 100K but it is nice to know the car can go the distance.
|
I plan to hit 100 and beyond. I'm driving this car til it can't drive anymore.
|
People with less then 70K should not be posting!
Haha we have a thread for "Current Miles On The Z" or something of that nature. Anyways, 72k here. Goal is 200k. Owned the car for a little over 2 years now. Oil changed every 5-6k with Nissans synthetic & washed weekly :) Problems: Steering Lock (Tow/Replacement/Waiting Around=$201 w/warranty) Replace Bushings/Control Arms (Warranty "MPP" Covered= $1400) Cleaning Bra's & Panties out of the trunk (Priceless) |
my 4yr old Z has less than 14k miles.
my 9yr old G has less than 33k miles. it will take me a while before reaching 100k. :icon17: |
09 z is curently at 57k. hopefully i see 200 plus on her if that ever happens
|
Just the other day I was wondering and kind of worrying about putting too many miles on her too quick and killing the car. Looks like it should run strong for a long time. :) I'm only just over 13k. But that's after 6 months. I'll post again in a couple of years.
|
I'm at 72,000 as the original owner. It has been a great car. My last car was an RX-8 with 106K and a Passat before that with 102K. I will go past 100K easily. I also track it but don't rag it out when I drive it on the street. I don't baby it either. The performance upgrades I've done help it I think. Especially the oil cooler!
|
I'm at 18K miles after 3 years. At this rate, she won't hit 100K for probably another 15 years.
|
I'm ABOUT to hit 70k. (68k and change...)
To this point I haven't had any engine trouble, and it runs flawlessly. (However I have had all the 370Z's unique bugs present themselves - CSC, Steering Lock, and Diff Bushings. Thank Jebus I bought the extended warranty...) I can say my last car was an '03 Maxima with the VQ35DE, and while it's not identical, I got 160k+ out of that car before I had some ignition trouble. It ate oil like a pig, but that was the only issue I had. Could probably have fixed the ignition issue rather easily, but it was an excuse to dump it for a Z. The VQ has always been reliable. I try to rack up miles on my wife's Altima rather than my Z, but I plan to keep it for well over 100k. |

I just am approaching 13K with a 2009. Don't get a lot of seat time. Love the car, but not worth the money/time.
|

|
2011 w/ 8500. I hate seeing those miles rack up, but I love driving the damn thing too much to care.

My 2010 has almost 70k on it. Like 67k.
|
Mine is 2011 and I average 15k a year which is normal acceptable miles and I am about to reach 90 years old and still having an erection I hope!
Come on Bruno another one bites the dust!:icon14: |
Any 100k 370z around?
I see a lot of folks on this list who baby their car, not use it as DD. Just wondered if anyone is getting close to 100k and what their experience/regrets are? Anyone out there?
Who might have the highest mileage 370z? |

I've put 22k in a year on the 370 So as of right now, I just hit 36k. Lol Check back in a few years, I should be averaging 30K+ a year in THIS car. This year though, I have probably driven a total of 50k, right on target. And in TX when I lived in Dallas, my gf lived 250 miles away in Houston, so I had a 500 mile round trip every week, sometimes twice a week depending on the occasion. (Drove over for Valentine's dinner, then back to Dallas at like 2AM) |
^^ haha I have a nismo with 73k miles. My csc just failed last month so i put in a hd csc and new cluch and light weight flywheel...must say i dont like the feel of the flywheel i would swap back for my balanced flywheel if it wasnt so much work. other than that the car is stil running like a champ. redline oil is credited :ugh2:
