because you lack vision of what the car can be turned into with some aftermarket support...for example, alot of people dont like the way the Honda fit looks stock, but when you see one thats fixed up on the road they are actually very good looking...heck i was just talking to a buddy of mine at work today about the fit and he says he absolutely hates the way the car looks |

Im sure mostly everyone can see the idx is the 510 which is said just about everywhere on the web, but the reports of seeing a new Z seemed legit, and they said @ tokyo, not LA, but I guess we will see...I cannot see the idx being a new Z, but the idx could be a neat ride in production. IF so, my Z will be boosted in the summer.

There's this thing called an opinion ya know....beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I have a buddy that has a dope fit. Would I buy one and mod it? He'll no, it doesn't look THAT cool.

They all do that with every car. Just like everyone is saying the s550 is ugly and looks too much like an Aston martin

Lol I was just using her as an example cause everyone went crazy over her back when transformers came out. I don't find her that special myself. However I surely wouldn't turn it down lol

Shallow? No, I dig the IDx for a car, not a replacement for a Z. The Z has a long heritage of RWD, good power, for the common man. Id hate to think is straying from that recipe. You can argue the 300 strayed, being so damn expensive, perhaps the 370 too as I got screwed and bought a '13 and got raped. But mechanically the recipe has always been there. The IDx offers none of it (as a Z). Given the preamble to Tokyo, all the innuendos gestures and downright frankness that "the next gen Z car will be unveiled", i hardly think its shallow to accept the IDx as a viable replacement for the beloved Z. Neat car, but a Z it aint. Amiright?
