The PW w/ black accents looks pretty nice actually and I'm not a PW kind of dude. Of course, I think just by getting the car -- regardless of color -- you're a winner.

OP, lots of valuable and passionate input here. Curious to hear from you. Where you are at after all this. Just wondering.

As for the argument of rarity. Not really an area to take it to because there is not much of a difference. I remember this post from Vince a long time ago. The only caveat -- production numbers run through Nov 2011 but give you an idea.

Get the white pearl. Had my IMSA Mazda RX-7 painted silver pearl. It sparkled in sunlight, glowed under streetlights at night and really came alive at sunset! Pearl, chameleon, Ford Mystic, Cannondale Purplusion are so cool.

I love the way pw looks on a nismo but leaves to be desired on the regular Z. So on a sport pkg Z I would do and did GM. Nismo= pw

I would say Pearl except Nissan pearl is a joke.Honda Premium Pearl White all day. I knew the pearl white on the Z probably wouldnt be as good but i didnt expect the paint to be that cheap.The Honda Prelude Premium Pearl white was good for 10 years not one flake or chip 3 stage coat that no shop could match.

For sure would of rather got Gunmetal or black, but this is true pearl white right here.

I will agree that pearl on some other vehicles have more of a pearl effect, but I disagree that PW on the Z is a joke. The Nissan paint quality is a joke on ALL of the Zs, not just the PW..... Why didn't you just get a Honda and call it day?

Had a black car before, never again. all the whirl marks, dust and dirt sensitivity drove me mad. PW all the way!

Don't forget the 1 silver. :) That's about right though I see a few more blacks. GM is hard to come by but its sexy. For instance my GM was the only one in a group of 30.

White. I'm sick of GM. I had 2. And my current car is GM-ish. The 40th dark grey is nice tho

PW, for some reason that rear end just looks fatter. :D

For GM, its nice but i feel like you will blend in more with the 350z since theres
a lot of that color.

Pikes peak is solid but I feel a nicer wwhite for a sports car imho. It makes a better white for the Z than pearl as a general statement
