Strange.. I've never had this issue, and I hit the on-ramps pretty hard. Maybe I'll try harder lol

I think its semi easy, a vendor here makes a fix. Nissan will just have to make enough so you don't have to pay the crazy $1000 for his solution.

That doesn't include the labor involved does it? That's kind of what I'm getting at. Sounds harsh, but Nissan weights in the cost of the recall vs. any real threat of death. There should really be some kind of recall for this, more so than the steering lock issue. So far though, no one to my knowledge has crashed or has gotten injured because of this so I doubt Nissan will do anything any time soon. People need to speak up, just like they did with the steering lock issue.

The solution from phunk seems to work, but I doubt Nissan would go with that solution.

This is scary. I've let my fuel level down to less than 20 miles DTE several times (I only live 8 miles away from work and the gas station is in between). Never again :shakes head:.

just make left turns, then you're safe!

The new Nissan customer bulletin: to avoid encountering the worst design flaw of the 370Z, please only drive it on Nascar oval tracks :icon17:
