I'd rather have polished stainless than nickle. For the guys that wanted the brushed nickle look it would be easy enought to make the polished stainless brushed.... |

hey arent those cf Z emblems like 80$ each though. Plus Im not sure about the cf if i dont have any other cf stuff on the car. What about a black chrome emblem in either Z or nissan. Would it be possible to have the current emblems rechromed black chrome I wonder?

Any body shop can shave those emblems for around $600. All they need is a can of bondo and some spray paint. Just do the whole car flat black, get some ryms, and a sweet adjustable rear wing. I own a nissan, not a WTF was that?

that was directed at the shaving all the badges off a 370z crowd. Also there was some sarcasim and rice joking going on as well. If you don't find it funny skip it. I would consider the carbon datsun z style badge if they came out with like a new G-nose concept front end kit.
|
Look I like a z badge as much as the next guy, but the real question concerning me in regards to any hood mod is when is Zeto gonna let me know how this hood vent mod happens. Whens that DIY a comin? WHEN? PS sorry I hijacked the thread..... its very late or early, you know! Bye....:wtf2:

The first thing I'm going to do when I get the car is de-badge it. I don't like any badging or emblems on a car. A car looks smoother and better some how without the all that stuff on it, plus you can properly polish the paint as well. Trying to polish out marring from black paint with all that badging is impossible, you just can't get that close or in between. I also can't recall receiving payment from Nissan for the advertising ;). Anyway, I can't remove the front and rear emblems as they are inset, and I don't want any body work performed, so I think these are a good alternative.

Is that the oem emblem with a oem side marker in it?

Just the readily available 350 matte look emblems. I think it's an OEM 350 emblem in the center.. http://images51.fotki.com/v1562/phot...MG_2049-vi.jpg |
those arent bad...where did you get them...
|
The 370 has slightly different sized or shaped emblems from front to back for proper fit. Are those the same?

I really don't like emblems that are not recessed, as they are a major problem for paint care.
