Nice Cayman GTS! It is so true that manual transmission P cars are very difficult to come by. I went to a Porsche dealer a month ago and not a single car in its showroom has manual transmission. They told me manual transmission has to be special ordered. It is as difficult to find a manual transmission P car in the market.

Please post photos of the 981 GTS. Don't see a lot of them for sure.

I had a cayman s and loved every minute of it. Most importantly the mid engine performance in the turns

OP..Ah don't worry no regrets!

Its a Porsche man! No arguments

Photos already on a previous post. Most dealers wont take the chance to build a car for the showroom with 6spd. The sales perosn that built my car quit before I bought it and the other sales guys didnt know wher it came form when it came of the trailer . They were like - whaaa?? who built this car?!? We didn't. The good news is it was build I liked.

You don't have to worry about when to brake and when to accelerate like you do in a 911, just keep your foot down and it goes right where you want it to! Never thought I could ever be a convertible guy until I drove it with the top down. Again, crazy amounts of fun. Feels faster than the Z too, despite the figures.
Did you get PDK or mt? Which suspension did you get?
If I were you, I'd look into getting the wheels powder coated and the PSE system. That's what my config would be at least.

The difference in weight and superior transmissions attributes to it feeling faster.

Fúck this is an old thread...

Test drove one yesterday this car is sweet with the PDK, very comfortable you don't feel or hear the road noise even with the top closed. The shifting with the paddles is quick, the engine revs like a tight virgin.

The down side they only want trade in for my 2011 Z with 34kmiles only for 12K.
I said f*ck my arce you bitch! Lol

Sad but true the 370Z value is going to the hands of teenagers.
My Nissan dealer is selling a 350Z only for 5K with 80k miles convertable. I was so mad.

Is yours a base, sport, touring or convertible? 13k was the most anyone would give for my 2011 base 76k miles, a year ago. End up selling it privately within days for 16k. The value for the 370z will plummet even further when the new Z comes out

Mine is a sports package manual coupe. 2 years ago it was trading at 24k.
Im at the fence now of letting it go but not that low. Was expecting about 19k or better upper 20k for mileage of only 34k.

sell privately, u prob won't get 20k but will get close, maybe 17-18,

the dealer lowballing 12k is blasphemy, I traded in my civic for 14500 and it was a 2012 with 40k miles.

24k how? dealers were selling new 15' sport for 32k

The depreciation curve for your car and Year has flattened out. Prob only lose another grand per year, until the next Z come out.
Normally import cars depreciate about 60% after 5 years (in real market, not trade in). The Z actually held value pretty well.
