KNOW it has the most HP?
Please do your research more, because up until now, it's the most unchanged model

EagleTime 07-13-2013 08:14 PM

2013 I read the increased the hp. So no major changes or problems from one year to another?

Don't listen to members with sour grapes that they didn't wait for a 2013. You are correct, the 2013 came with a larger intake manifold which boosted the HP to 375.

MJB 07-13-2013 08:25 PM

There is no best year for the Nismo. In fact we wasted 10k dollars on a body kit and wheels....... according to the non Nismo owners

LakeShow 07-13-2013 08:55 PM

I'd just say 2013 cause its newer. My 2013 felt a little more refined than my 11' did as far as suspension, fixed and corrected TSB's, oil cooler addition, no steering lock worries, etc. Things of that nature. The 13' Nismo I believe also tweaked the brakes to increase responsiveness.

No steering lock, ability to get Bose, and half the touring package, oil cooler, but I really don't think anything else

2014 will be here in about a month or so as well

EXACTLY. Stop photoshopping DEpointfive0. 2013 > all other years.

Elan 07-13-2013 10:04 PM

I don't there is a "best" year. Maybe the 2014 but that's not here yet. If you liked the look of the 350Z Nismo, wait for the 2014 because you get a gun metal trim body kit to match the wheels as well as a cool steering wheel and nav options. The 2013 you have the option for bose and you get gun metal wheels. Other then that, they really aren't that different as other members stated. It's all about what YOU like.

EagleTime 07-13-2013 10:11 PM

Viper daily in nice weather or Nismo daily in any weather yes snow... Only 3 inches or less on the roads though.

I was here three years before you, what's that got to do with anything? A high post count doesn't make you trustworthy. Stop trying to get people to not buy the 2013 nismo.

luigi90210 07-13-2013 10:39 PM

the 2011 was the last year the 370z(both regular and nismo) had a stiff suspension, 2012 and up went with euro shocks to make the ride smoother(it hurt handling a bit)

...350hp, any Z with Intakes/Exhaust should be able to beat that.

BHP ratings are same for all MY's of Z34 base and sport, with higher ratings for the Z34 Nismo, which was also same for all MY's.

"Best" would probably be 2012 (oil cooler, other little bugs fixed) or 2013, if you prefer the different front fascia, wheels, and other little cosmetic refreshes. For the 2013 Nismo, same body kit, but wheels are gunmetal and its equipped with SS brake lines (if memory serves).

Most buggy will be the first MY for the Z34, 2009 (ECU whine, etc.).

That said, the best will be the one you can afford -- awesome sports car for the money

KERMIT 07-14-2013 08:16 AM

Well, in 2013 they started rating horsepower at the wheels, so the actual engine power had to increase for the same power rating.

Where in the F*ck did you hear this, this would only ruin there "marketing ploys"(lies) they make the cars with huge losses when comparing at the fly wheel HP to actual at the wheel HP and they use this to there advantage .........:icon14:
