Can't wait to hit 25...then I will be making the switch from Geico to USAA..this makes me want to do it now

Chuck33079 07-10-2013 03:24 PM

If you qualify for usaa there's never any reason to have anything else.

Except in the case of uninsured motorist coverage. There is no other insurance company, so the claim is against your own company. However, the uninsured motorist coverage in my policy does not require me to pay a deductible.

Totally. USAA has some crazy rates and pretty good customer service from what I've heard. Too bad I don't qualify :(

When I started at that company, part of the "formal" training was reading the policy. Talk about dull...but it gets ingrained into your head over time haha

USAA is the shiznit! Never had a issue! Been in 2 wrecks both times they did everything.

bdavis89 07-10-2013 04:19 PM

Yeah, I had USAA with my parents, so I qualify, but the rates are a lot higher right now compared to Geico. I'm going to get them on the phone and see what I can do though. They don't have the best rates, but their service is really good.

red2010z 07-10-2013 04:38 PM

Yeah but I will pay the little bit of extra for quality service. Been with em for 10 years.

Stop going with what "some guy" tells you. Go online and search for policyholder experiences. 99% of the time, you'll be better off with a company you've actually heard of. Don't make price the only factor in your decision either. If you cheap out, it can (will) bite you in the *** later.
