Even though these items may be custom made to order, it's not like they're 'one off' items. There's plenty of 370Z's around and I'm sure someone else will order the same part in the future.

I think it's just because they don't want to deal with the shipping. Shipping body parts is expensive and things can get sour if the customer returns a damaged part due to not packaging properly + probably not insured enough, etc.

Doesn't look like the OP cares to much about this thread. This is a drive by.

Well all give them credit for explaining materials in full detail description and giving pros and cons regarding buying that type of material. But I personally had no luck on return policy information on their website. Unless its provided on the receipt after point of purchase. But even then that’s after the fact and should be disclosed on their website for customer viewing. But then again falls back on the customer for not asking.

Maybe Shine Auto saw all of the stick on nonfunctional scoops all over the OP's car and washed their hands of the whole thing?

From Shine's side of this? They'd have to prove damages from my understanding of the law.

First off Ken has been around and doing this for 10+ years. He's no scammer and is a great businessman. Second off, I purchased my Amuse kit from them and it was perfect. A few minor smoothing issues my body shop handled but other than that it was great. Sorry for your problems but they are a reputable company with great products.

Replicas always need some additional work from the body shop. If that's the root of the OP's complaint, he doesn't have a scoop to stand on. Err...leg.

I've ordered a Front Lip and Sideskirts there. Shipping was good, packaging was fine. I never put on the sideskirt because I decided that my car would look cleaner without it. Regardless of the reason, it's unused and I want to return it for a refund. I also need to buy another front lip of the Z34 because mine is pretty scratched up but i'm not purchasing it if they can't even simply return a call or reply to a damn email. I've been trying to get in contact with them for months now. I've called atleast 30 times and left 3 voice messages. These people just don't want to deal with refunding. There is no refund policy either. I believe if they're really a "good business" they would refund me my money for this product. Willing to pay shipping and everything that's not a problem. I'll also box it just how it was sent to me.

They shouldn't refund you. You ordered parts that are built to order. It's on you. Sell them here on this site.

Next time make better decisions. It's no fault of there own.

Calling them scammers because you changed your mind is pretty weak, dude.

The return policy is not disclosed. So how is that the customers fault?

red2010z 07-10-2013 03:41 PM

look just sell me the side skirts for 60% of what you payed! Problem solved!

Your kidding right? There are no returns on products that are built to order. Especially when the OP planily just doesn't want it and there where no defects. And IF and I mean IF they did (which they won't, and legally don't have to on built to order products with no defects) they could charge a big restocking fee and why would be the OP be willing to pay to have shipped back? Losing money there too. Just the product here. Simple.

And I'd like to address the issue of the OP calling them scammers. That is real BS there. Maybe he's the scammer?
