Need Advise.... :-/

Hey all,

I want to add an Oil Pressure gauge to the Z. But dont know where to mount it, I dont like the Idea or the way it looks to mount it up on the dash. So can someone come up with some Ideas for me? Thanks:tiphat:

rip out the clock and put it in the 3-gauge.

You could have a custom A-pillar fabricated. A lot of FI guys put their boost gauge there. Galeforce on the forum actually makes them himself. You might PM him

You can put it in the cubby if you have the base

even if there's more work involved, i think at the end, you will be most happy with the gauge where the clock is. and just get a HU with clock.

Aren't those 3 gauges all 1 piece? You have to replace all 3 if you want to replace 1 right?

Yep. I used to be pissed about it, until it dawned on me that I could give a rat's *** about the volt meter, so even if they were removeable individually I'd still be replacing two out of the three. At that point, it wouldn't bother me nearly as much to buy a new oil temp gauge for the third spot.

did u check the DIY link i posted? they are separate pieces.

They definitely are not.lol But hey I didn't just take mine out last weekend..Maybe they were on the earlier 370s?

kenchan 07-09-2013 11:53 AM

no idea, just linking a DIY that shows they are separate pieces.

Its all good. Just warning the OP to not be surprised if he goes in there and is like holy crap they are all one piece.

You have to swap all of the gauges...which is worth it for the boosted folks.

Chuck33079 07-09-2013 12:35 PM

The DIY shows that the hoods and bezels are separate pieces. The guts are all one peice in the linked post. It's mentioned right at the top.

Wonka2581 07-09-2013 02:23 PM

Yup one pice,
